Deadly Murun_garra

The Deadly Murun_garra ("to be alive") program provides culturally safe and relevant, first aid and CPR training to Aboriginal people and the local community.

A first of its kind, Deadly Murun_garra, co-designed with St John Ambulance, teaches you the skills to keep your mob safe.

How does the Murun_garra work?

The program has been designed through consultation with local Aboriginal peoples to ensure the content is relevant; providing real-world examples of when you’ll need first aid and CPR skills, and importantly, how to use them.

The course covers topics such as snake bites, how to use a defibrillator (and where to find one), choking, CPR.
