Deadly Murun_garra
The Deadly Murun_garra ("to be alive") program provides culturally safe and relevant, first aid and CPR training to Aboriginal people and the local community.
A first of its kind, Deadly Murun_garra, co-designed with St John Ambulance, teaches you the skills to keep your mob safe.How does the Murun_garra work?
The program has been designed through consultation with local Aboriginal peoples to ensure the content is relevant; providing real-world examples of when you’ll need first aid and CPR skills, and importantly, how to use them.
The course covers topics such as snake bites, how to use a defibrillator (and where to find one), choking, CPR.
How do l access the Deadly Murun_garra?
Deadly Murun_gurra is a free program, available to anyone interested. There are two upcoming workshops that you can register your interest for:
