headspace Lithgow update

Our headspace Lithgow office has been impacted by flooding as a result of two burst pipes. Because of the damage this has caused, the office space can’t be accessed.

To ensure you’re kept informed of service and office updates, we’ll be updating this page regularly. Make sure to check back.


Updates

We are still open! – updated on Monday 23 October

headspace Lithgow are still operating face-to-face services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 164 Main Street, Lithgow. Alternatively, you can book to speak with one of our team members via telehealth.

The community engagement team encourage the young people of Lithgow to attend their upcoming events:

  • Community services market day on Thursday 26 October – Cook Street Plaza, 11am-3:30pm
  • Lithgow Halloween on Saturday 28 October – 164 Main Street, 4pm-8pm
  • Animation Workshop commencing on Monday 30 October
  • PCYC community picnic day on Saturday 4 November
  • NAIDOC Community Event on Saturday 11 November – Green spot Wallerawang, 11am-3pm

Face-to-face services – updated on Wednesday 6 September
headspace Lithgow will be opening on Monday 11 September for three days per week – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for face-to-face services. You can find us at 164 Main Street, Lithgow – keep an eye out for the green headspace flag out the front of the building!


FAQs

We’ve had to close our office because it’s not safe for staff or clients. Due to the complexity of the damage, we anticipate it will be several months before this site can be used. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate this situation.

Yes! our staff are still able to provide support to young people and their families remotely via phone and video (telehealth). The headspace Lithgow team are well equipped to be able to provide the same level of care and expertise through telehealth.
