headspace Orange vaping information session
headspace Orange together with NSW Health Youth Drug and Alcohol, and Lives Lived Well, will be hosting a series of information sessions focusing on adolescent health and wellbeing over the coming months.
The first session, held on Tuesday 8 June at Orange High School, will be a Q&A style session on vaping.
Sharna Lord, headspace Orange Community Engagement Officer says the information sessions aim to inform and empower parents and young people to have adequate knowledge and skills, to help make informed decisions about issues they may face.
“We want to help our community have as much knowledge and skills as possible, to tackle any important topics or issues that may come up.
Vaping is a hot topic and issue right now, so it’s timely that we help parents and young people understand it more,” Ms Lord said.
Community organisations, young people, parents and friends from all schools are welcome to attend.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite by searching ‘headspace orange’ or you can join virtually by emailing email@example.com for the link.
