After Hours GP Clinics and medical telephone service

Our After Hours GP services in Bathurst and Dubbo, provide urgent (but not emergency) primary care outside of normal business hours.


Bathurst

Bathurst After Hours GP Clinic

A bulk-billed service staffed by a local GP and Registered Nurse. The clinic is located in the Specialist Rooms of the Heritage Building at Bathurst Base Hospital. Medicare card required.

Please be advised that service delivery options and access may change based on NSW Government advice and we appreciate your patience.

  • 3.00pm to 6.45pm on weekends and most public holidays (the Clinic is not open on Christmas Day or Good Friday)

Bathurst After Hours Phone Service

A telephone service that connects you to a local GP for medical advice outside normal GP surgery hours, seven days a week.

  • Weeknights 6.00pm to 8.00am
  • Saturday from 12.00pm
  • Sunday and public holidays 24 hours

Dubbo

Dubbo After Hours GP Clinic

The Dubbo After Hours Clinic is open, however we ask that you please call ahead on 6884 9739.

If you have been instructed to self-isolate or are awaiting a COVID test result, do not present to the clinic. If you have cold and flu symptoms, don't present to the clinic - please get a COVID test. 

A bulk-billed service staffed by a local GP and Registered Nurse. The clinic is located in the Day Surgery rooms of Dubbo Base Hospital. Medicare card required.

  • 2.00pm to 5.45pm on Saturdays, Sundays and most public holidays (the Clinic is not open on Christmas Day or Good Friday)

Dubbo After Hours Phone Service

A telephone service that connects you to a local GP for medical advice outside normal GP surgery hours, seven days a week.

  • Weeknights 6.00pm to 8.00am
  • Weekends and public holidays 24 hours

To access this service in the after-hours period, please call 02 6884 2100.


The After Hours services are not intended to replace the routine care provided by your local GP, or substitute medical care in an emergency situation. In emergencies please dial triple zero (000).
