We work with you to build confidence, manage your health and achieve your goals – at your pace and in a way that works for you.

Cost and access

Many health and wellbeing services are free and delivered through funded programs and referrals.
Some services may also be available through NDIS funding or private appointments, depending on the program and location.

The aged care system can be hard to understand and stressful to navigate. That’s where the care finder program comes in. Our care finders help vulnerable older people get the aged care services they need, with one-on-one support.

Diabetes Foot Health Clinic

Regular foot care is an important part of staying well when you are living with diabetes. Diabetes can damage nerves in your feet, cause poor circulation, and increase the risk of serious complications, which is why preventative care is so important.

Diabetes management and support

Being diagnosed with diabetes can feel overwhelming. There is a lot of new information to take in. You may need to learn how blood sugar levels work, how food and activity affect your body, and how to manage medicines.

Flying Start Mudgee

Flying Start Mudgee is a free program that brings a paediatrician and allied health team to Mudgee to provide early intervention supports to help kids reach their full potential – giving kids a flying start.

Flying Start Paediatric Service

Our Flying Start Paediatric Service provides free access to paediatricians for children living in rural and remote communities – providing equity in access to vital supports for families, closer to home.

Health Care Navigator

Knowing how or where to access the right health service for your needs can be overwhelming. Our Health Care Navigator program has been designed to support people with chronic health conditions to navigate their way through the health system.

Homelessness Health Support Team Program

The Homelessness Health Support Team Program supports people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of experiencing homelessness including sleeping rough, couch surfing and living in overcrowded dwellings to access the healthcare they need.

When you have a chronic disease, navigating the health systems and the services you need can be overwhelming.

Nutrition advice and support

Food and drink are important for your health. Sometimes, you may need extra help to understand what you eat and how it affects your body. This is especially important if you have a long term health condition.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy helps make everyday life easier. Whether it’s getting dressed, cooking, working, transitioning to school or staying independent at home, our therapists support people to build skills and confidence for daily living.

Outreach specialist services

The Rural Health Outreach Funds program supports specialists and allied health professionals to deliver outreach health services to people living in regional, rural or remote communities.

Psychosocial Physical Health Pilot Program

Living with mental health concerns can impact many parts of your life – including your physical health. That’s where the Psychosocial Physical Health Pilot Program can help.

Speech pathology

Good communication is essential in everyday life. If you or someone you care for is having trouble with speech, language, understanding others, voice, or swallowing, a speech pathologist can help build confidence, skills and connection.

WARATAH

It’s not uncommon for vulnerable people with chronic health conditions to fall through the gaps in healthcare. The Wellness and Resilience Achieved Through Allied Health (WARATAH) program is designed to help provide access to allied health services such as diabetes education, dietetics, podiatry, and physiotherapy in some communities. The program is free, your GP will support with the referral.

WARATAH for Kids

Do you need support with your child’s development? You may be eligible for free speech pathology and occupational therapy services through the WARATAH for Kids program.

Westfund Care Coordination Pilot Program

Managing your health can feel overwhelming – especially if you’re dealing with multiple conditions, navigating services, or unsure where to start. Marathon Health has partnered with Westfund Health Insurance to deliver the Westfund Care Coordination Pilot Program, helping you connect with the right care, support your health goals, and make things simpler.
