Through group health and wellbeing sessions in Wagga Wagga, participants can connect with health professionals, learn practical skills and work towards healthier lifestyles. The program supports people living with mental health concerns to improve their physical health and overall wellbeing.


Who is this program for?

The Psychosocial Physical Health Pilot Program group sessions are for people aged 18 and over, who want to improve their physical health and wellbeing.

Through group education sessions, you can learn practical ways to improve your physical health and wellbeing while connecting with others in a supportive environment.

Please note, this program previously offered individual coaching (one-on-one support), which concluded in June 2026.


What can I expect at the group sessions?

Our group sessions offer practical tips and activities to help you improve your physical health and wellbeing.

Topics may include:

  • Healthy cooking and meal planning
  • Understanding important health checks and health numbers
  • Physical activity and exercise
  • Addiction and recovery
  • Yoga and mindfulness
  • Simple exercises you can do at home
  • Creative wellbeing activities, including art and movement

When and where are the sessions available?

The group sessions will be held in person in Wagga Wagga at the Tolland Community Centre.

Our next sessions are:

  • Wednesday 9 September – Let’s cook together
  • Wednesday 7 October – Move your way with Synergy Healthworks
  • Wednesday 18 November – Keeping active at home with personal trainer Monson Tuval
  • Wednesday 2 December – Let’s cook Christmas ready
