You’ll be part of our supportive Albury or Wagga office teams (both located on Wiradjuri Country), with fellow Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners also based in Bathurst—creating opportunities for cross-site collaboration and connection.
You’ll work across the NDIS, mental health, education, and out-of-home care sectors, supported by a multidisciplinary team including our counsellors, who contribute directly to our shared participant outcomes.
About You
You are a qualified and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who brings:
- A strong commitment to person-centred practice and positive behaviour support
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission – core, proficient, advanced or specialist registration.
- Experience working within the NDIS and disability sector
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A Current Working with Children’s Check for VIC and NSW
- Current working in the NDIS sector screening check
- Current drivers licence
Your Role
You will be an integral part of our growing PBS team, working to improve the lives of participants by providing tailored, evidence-based support. In this role, you will:
- Engage meaningfully with participants and their support networks to build strong, trust-based relationships
- Conduct thorough functional behaviour assessments and develop comprehensive, individualised behaviour support plans
- Provide practical strategies to enhance capacity, independence, and quality of life
- Celebrate milestones and progress while working collaboratively to reduce challenging behaviours
- Ensure all services align with legislative requirements, NDIS standards, and Marathon Health policies
- Continuously contribute to service improvement initiatives

Position Levels & Salary Range
We recognise and reward your experience and expertise:
- Core Practitioner: $82.5K + Super
- Proficient Practitioner: From $87.5K + Super
- Advanced Practitioner: From $92.5K + Super
