Are you passionate about helping young people build brighter futures? We’re looking for a dynamic Vocational Specialist to join our supportive team at headspace Dubbo (Wiradjuri Country).
In this role, you’ll work closely with young people aged up to 25, guiding them through their journey into employment and education. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, offering mentoring, career coaching, and ongoing support to help them thrive.
This position is part of the Individual Placement Support (IPS) program, which is all about making a real difference. You’ll be helping young people with mental health challenges who are at risk of disengaging from school or work, empowering them to unlock their potential.

Essential Criteria:
- Strong relationship-building skills – Proven ability to connect with and engage key community groups and agency stakeholders, with a genuine passion for collaboration and making a difference.
- Relevant experience – Background in vocational services and/or youth mental health, with a commitment to supporting young people on their journey to employment and education.
- Tech-savvy mindset – Confident using MS Office and other digital tools, with a willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving technology.
- Team player with initiative – Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team, bringing a positive, can-do attitude to every challenge.
- Eager to grow – Enthusiastic about learning and professional development, with a proactive approach to building skills and contributing to a dynamic workplace.
