Better healthcare, closer to home

We’re a health charity, based in rural Australia, for rural Australians. We believe everyone deserves to have access to quality healthcare, regardless of your postcode, regardless of where you live.

That’s why we’re committed to delivering the essential health, wellbeing, and services that rural Australians need – creating equity, in partnership with community, and based on evidence to create sustainable outcomes.

Our story

Founded in 2015 with a small team in Western NSW, our mission was simple but powerful: ensuring rural Australians could access the same level of healthcare as those in metro areas. Since then, we have grown – partnering with local communities, expanding our reach, building a strong and sustainable rural health workforce, and helping thousands of people to access care closer to home.

From our first outreach clinics to the creation of integrated, innovative models of care – every step has been about bridging the gap between need and access, community and care.

What drives us

We put people at the centre of everything we do – listening first and shaping our services around their needs and goals.

Our priority is lasting impact, fostering healthier lives, stronger communities, and real change.

We believe health is a shared journey, through partnerships and collaboration with people, carers, communities, organisations and governments.

Vision

Empowering communities to thrive through equitable health and wellbeing
