Allied Health Open Day

Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of our control, the Open Day scheduled for Monday 7 July in Dubbo has been cancelled. Thank you to those who registered interest, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The good news is you can join our waitlist and be the first to know when the next event will take place. With enough interest, we will run another Open Day soon!

Your student placement is often the first time you can see what it’s like working in your chosen industry. It can also be a little overwhelming as you navigate placement, employment, finances, relocation and uni!

Our clinicians have been where you are and are committed to ensuring your placement with us provides valuable learning opportunities, hands-on experience and, importantly, that your days are full of support and friendly faces!

In fact, some students love their time with us so much, they come back to work with us.

Placement opportunities

We have placement opportunities available now in occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, psychology, counselling and positive behaviour support where you will have access to:

• A real, hands-on adventure working with people in country NSW
• Quality and supportive clinical supervision
• On the job clinical training
• Genuine career opportunities

Support and accommodation for country placements may be available via Three Rivers Department of Rural Health Access and even through your uni! We can assist students from all universities to apply.

Meet your mentors

We want you to feel supported, which is why we provide regular mentoring and supervision sessions with our senior clinicians. Our team will share knowledge and ensure you’re on the right track.
