headspace Cowra located on Wiradjuri Country, provides early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12–25 and their families. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Mental Health Clinician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This is a part-time role (45 hours per fortnight).
What you’ll do
- Provide clinical assessment, formulation, and treatment to young people presenting with mild to moderate mental health concerns.
- Deliver individual and group interventions informed by current evidence and tailored to each young person’s needs.
- Contribute to care coordination and collaborative treatment planning with internal and external services.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support outcome measurement.
- Actively participate in regular clinical supervision, team case reviews, and professional development.

What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or equivalent.
- Current registration with AHPRA, AASW, or other relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, evidence-based interventions, care coordination, and risk management (including suicide and self-harm risk assessment and safety planning).
- Strong ability to engage and build rapport with young people and their families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and documentation skills.
- Confidence using clinical software and technology to support care delivery.
