Join Our Dynamic Team as a Program Support Officer!

Are you an energetic and organised superstar with a passion for helping others? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have loads of initiative? If so, we want YOU to be our next Program Support Officer at our headspace centre in Orange, NSW (Wiradjuri Country)! This is a part time (52hrs per fortnight), fixed term role, up to 7 August 2026.

As part of our vibrant, close-knit team, you’ll provide exceptional customer service and administrative support while making a real impact in the lives of young people. This part-time role is perfect for someone who’s ready to jump in, get involved, and help us deliver high-quality services in a supportive, feel-good environment.

About the Role:

  • Be the first friendly face and voice that young people, their families, and friends interact with.
  • Handle calls and appointments for clients, staff, and service providers like a pro!
  • Keep things running smoothly with data entry, scanning, and other admin tasks.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records that help our team deliver exceptional care.
  • Ensure the headspace  Orange centre always looks professional and welcoming.
  • Help with purchase orders, Medicare billing, and reports to keep everything in tip-top shape!
  • Assist with meeting prep, including agendas, minutes, and papers to keep our team on track.

About You:

·        Experience in administration, reception, or customer service.

·        A background in youth services or not-for-profit health organizations is a bonus!

·        A master of organization with top-notch time management skills.

·        Someone who can juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with ease.

·        Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

·        A keen eye for detail and accuracy

·        A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

·        A passion for working with young people aged 12-25.
