We’re seeking an experienced and capable Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership across the Wellness and Resilience Achieved Through Allied Health (WARATAH) program and the Southern Portfolio’s administration functions.

About the Role
As Team Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the WARATAH program while providing leadership, coordination and oversight to administration and program support staff across the Southern Portfolio.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong operational performance, supporting staff to achieve outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping ensure services are responsive to community needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong day-to-day operational leadership to the WARATAH team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and achievement of program outcomes.
- Lead and support program support and administration staff to deliver efficient, responsive and customer-focused services.
- Partner closely with the Portfolio Manager to implement operational priorities and drive continuous service improvement.
- Monitor referral demand, intake processes and waitlists to ensure timely access to services.
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation and workflow management across the portfolio.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, partners and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Lead service audits, reviews and quality improvement initiatives to enhance performance and client outcomes.
- Assist with reporting requirements, performance monitoring and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Support the preparation of reports and data submissions for funding bodies and organisational leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating operational service delivery.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach and support staff across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to interpret data, monitor performance and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, databases and electronic record management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety, equity and contemporary people management principles.
- The ability to work collaboratively while also exercising sound judgement and initiative independently.
