Exciting news on our reopening

After a lengthy closure, we’re excited to announce that our headspace Lithgow office at 23 Main Street will soon reopen. Our staff will be moving back into the centre when we return from the Easter break, and we anticipate we can start offering face to face client appointments from Monday 22 April.

We’ll be updating this page regularly as we get closer to re-opening our doors, so be sure to check back.

In the meantime, we are still operating face-to-face services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 164 Main Street, Lithgow. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our community partner, Westfund Health Insurance, for their support in helping us to continue to operate from this temporary location over the last few months.

On behalf of the headspace Lithgow team, thank you for your patience and continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back to our centre soon!

FAQs

At this stage, we anticipate the centre at 23 Main Street will reopen to the community and clients from Monday 22 April. Keep an eye on this page and our socials for updates.

While we transition back to the office at 23 Main Street, we will continue to offer some sessions at 164 Main Street. We may continue to do this until all building works are complete and we’re back to being fully operational. Keep an eye on this page or our socials for updates.

Many Lithgow residents will have heard of the Lithgow Lounge @ headspace, which was in early stages of building works prior to the centre closure.

We’re pleased to share that when we return to the building, work will recommence on the project – transforming unused space at the back of the centre into a youth-focused group space which will be incorporated into our therapy program and services. The project will also provide an additional three clinic rooms to support service delivery.

It’s anticipated that the new space will greatly improve the quality, accessibility and availability of services for young people in Lithgow and surrounding communities.

We expect the building work to be completed on or around June 2024.

While there are still some building works being undertaken and to keep disruption to a minimum, some client sessions may be moved offsite to our temporary location at 164 Main Street. Our clinicians will work with clients on a case-by-case basis to ensure they know well in advance if this is the case.

You can continue to email us at hs.lithgow@marathonhealth.com.au or call our team at (02) 6352 7600 and we will direct you to the most appropriate person to speak with.

If a life is in danger, please call triple zero (000) or present to your nearest emergency department.
