Join us as a Diabetes Educator and help deliver person‑centred, culturally responsive diabetes support across our communities.
About the Role
As a key member of our Primary Health Team, you will:
- Deliver high‑quality diabetes education to individuals, families, and groups
- Provide outreach services to rural and remote communities
- Build strong partnerships with GPs, Aboriginal Health Services and other stakeholders
- Support clients through coordinated, multidisciplinary care
- Mentor students and contribute to best-practice models
- Use your expertise to improve accessibility and health outcomes for priority populations

What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Dietetics, Podiatry, Pharmacy, or Exercise Physiology
- AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
- Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education (or willingness to obtain)
- ADEA credentialling (or working towards it)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across cultures
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisational and digital skills
- Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
Experience in rural health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, telehealth, health promotion or research.
