How can counselling services help?

We offer a range of therapeutic services that are flexible to suit you. Our sessions provide a safe and private place to talk, helping you with practical support you can use in everyday life.

Counselling services might be right for you if you need help with:

  • worry, stress, feeling down (or stress, anxiety and low mood)
  • grief and loss
  • workplace challenges
  • carer support and burnout
  • school or study pressures
  • social stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • adjusting to change and life transitions

What kinds of counselling services do we offer?

Our counsellors live and work locally. They provide goal-focused and practical support that is tailored to meet your needs. You can choose to receive support in the way that suits you – in-person in our offices or your home, via telehealth or phone sessions.

Available in southern NSW and parts of Victoria, our services include:

  • Support for NDIS participants – access counselling via your improved daily living funding
  • Fee for service sessions – flexible appointment options and competitively priced support, so you can get the support you need now. Private health insurance rebates may be available*.
  • Workers’ compensation – support to help you through your recovery journey
  • Veterans’ counselling
  • Private health insurance (claimable counselling)

We can also provide:

  • Group, school, and program‑based counselling and/or skill building sessions
    • School‑based wellbeing programs
    • Staff wellbeing/self‑care programs
    • Topic‑specific counselling sessions (autism, ADHD, trauma for example)
  • Supervision to other counsellors

*Check with your private health insurer to confirm your eligibility for rebates.

What can I expect from my first counselling session?

In your first session, your counsellor will take the time to get to know you and to understand your needs. They will talk to you about you goals, and develop a personalised plan for you – helping you get started on your journey to becoming your best self.

How do I access counselling services?

You can self-refer to our counselling services – you don’t need a GP referral. To make a referral, submit the referral form or get in touch with us to refer over the phone.

Once we receive your referral, we’ll reach out to have a chat and understand what you need, so that we can match you with the right support.

Alternatively, if you’d like to check your eligibility or have questions, you can get in touch with us over the phone or by email. Our team will get back to you as soon as possible (usually within 2 business days).
