This month we celebrated our ten-year anniversary and the many significant milestones we’ve achieved along the way.

Our journey as Marathon Health began in July 2015 with a small team based in Western NSW. We were established to address gaps in health services for people living in regional, rural and remote areas.

Fast forward to today, where we deliver face-to-face services to 56% of NSW and virtually Australia-wide. Now more than ever we are committed to providing better healthcare, closer to home.

Over the last 10 years we have grown to become one of the largest not-for-profit employers of allied health professionals in regional NSW. Our staff live and work in regional communities, giving us a unique insight to the strengths and needs of regional Australia – and we are focused on delivering high quality, culturally-safe and evidence-based health and wellbeing services in partnership with communities.

In commemorating 10 years, we took a trip down memory lane – to stop and reflect on our achievements and the impact we’ve had on the communities in which we work.

We look forward to another 10 years of supporting country Australians to thrive through equitable health and wellbeing and to seeing the positive impact that we can make, together.
